We are excited to announce that Authentic Way Church will officially launch in September 2027 in the heart of Denver, Colorado.
Our broken and desperate hearts to reach the city of Denver through this brand-new church started in 2022. My wife and I moved to the Denver Metro area to lead a young adults ministry. Just two weeks after moving, Anastasia’s 11-year-old sister, Arianna, lost her life in a car accident. A man driving a truck, in his rage, turned the wheel into her car. Arianna immediately lost her life. So here we were, grieving the loss of Arianna, only six months into marriage, states away from family, expected to lead people. We wanted to give up and go home. But in the darkest moment of our lives, something changed inside of us. Instead of shaking our fists at Jesus, we ran to Him. Instead of becoming bitter, our hearts broke for people. We came to realize that we truly do not have tomorrow promised, yet so many of us live as if we do. So we asked a big question: In this short, temporary, fleeting life, what do we want to live for? We decided it was to pour out all of our time, money, energy, resources, etc., to bring the greatest news in the entire world to this city.
We long to create a space where anyone can come as they are, fall deeply in love with Jesus, and become desperate to reach Denver. Will you join us? Whether you are searching, skeptical, or all in with Jesus, we would love to connect with you. Let’s build something that’s eternal together in this short, fleeting life.
